Job Description

    Come create the technology that helps the world act togetherMain Purpose of Role: Subject matter expert on Information Security and compliance initiatives that will work with internal and external stakeholders to implement and manage a strong integrated security posture in addition to serving as a consultant to the business on security controls design.Main Responsibility Areas:
    • Security Risk Assessment of the telecom environment.
    • Managing various external and internal security audit activities like DoT, ISO 27001 and other related audits
    • Vulnerability and Penetration testing management
    • Security Process Lifecycle Management
    • Tracking of security risks and ensuring timely closures
    • Have basic knowledge of security hardening guidelines
    • Liaison with the Customer requirement on security deliverables and ensure timely delivery.
    Key Tasks:
    • Drive security governance with various partners and stakeholders.
    • Should be able to guide the team on the various security audits and compliance requirements like ISO 27001, DoT and other risk basis audits.
    • Liaising with the stakeholders and auditors in the various external and internal security audits.
    • Perform security assessments of the telecom environment and highlight key security gaps along with remediation suggestions. Ensure timely closure of remediations
    • Keep the environment audit ready and pro-actively highlight risk areas to the management and track for closure
    • Ensure key security processes are in place and define &measure security KPIs.
    • Track vulnerability management and penetration testing activities .Monitoring, evaluating, and driving closure management of vulnerabilities in the system
    • Implementation of security hardening controls and governance.
    • Manage lifecycle of Information Security governance frameworks and VAPT lifecycle
    • Manage governance activities related to third parties including: service provider audits, risk and security reviews, issue resolution, and performance management
    • Assess IT terms in third party contracts, RFPs and SOWs, and incorporate appropriate security terms
    • Research and understand emerging information security threats and vulnerabilities, Security hardening guidelines and advise customer accordingly
    Key Competencies:
    • Sound knowledge of ISO27001, NIST, 3GPP, ITU-T frameworks
    • Should have led security audits/ assessments in complex and preferably telecom environment.
    • Vulnerability management and security Hardening controls
    • Audit configuration of Network and Security devices
    • Good articulation and presentation skills. Strong ability to interface with and synthesize messages for executive level management, both internally and with customers
    • Innovation, entrepreneur and out of the box thinking mindset
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
    Education
    • Experience required 7 to 12 years
    • Education Bachelor of Engineering/Technology /Master s Degree or Equivalent
    Security Certifications: Any of the applicable, recognized industry security certifications
    • Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
    • ISO/IEC 27001:2013 LA/LI, CEH
