Job Description

    IT Project ManagerPosition Overview:The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing technology projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role involves coordinating teams, managing resources, and ensuring successful project delivery to meet organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.Key Responsibilities:
    1. Project Planning and Strategy:
      • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
      • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
      • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    2. Team Leadership:
      • Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
      • Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress.
      • Foster a collaborative environment and address team concerns effectively.
    3. Stakeholder Management:
      • Communicate project status, risks, and updates to stakeholders.
      • Ensure alignment of project goals with organizational objectives.
      • Manage expectations and handle feedback constructively.
    4. Budget and Resource Management:
      • Estimate project costs and manage budgets effectively.
      • Allocate and optimize resources to ensure maximum efficiency.
    5. Process and Documentation:
      • Maintain detailed project documentation, including plans, reports, and lessons learned.
      • Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
      • Continuously improve project processes and methodologies.
    6. Risk Management:
      • Proactively identify and address potential project risks.
      • Develop contingency plans to minimize impact on project deliverables.
    7. Technology Oversight:
      • Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends relevant to the project.
      • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with best practices.
    Qualifications:
    1. Education:
      • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
      • PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
    2. Experience:
      • Proven experience in IT project management, with a track record of successful project delivery.
      • Experience in agile and waterfall methodologies.
    3. Skills:
      • Strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
      • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project).
      • Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities.
    4. Technical Proficiency:
      • Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC).
      • Understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and cloud solutions.
