Quantity Surveyor/ BBS CheckerGurgaon, IndiaThe role Quantity Surveyor/ BBS Checker The candidate should be well conversant to preparing/ checking BBS and certification of civil works bills. He should be well aware of quantity surveying of civil works and etc. Your responsibilities will include: Working collaboratively with internal and external teams. Billing works which includes, bar bending schedule and site inspections. Application of IS codes, schedules of rates, study and interpret tender/ contracts. Maintaining the commercial control of subcontract packages. Ensuring the maximisation of value recovery, cost control and cash management. Protecting Mace limited contractual position. Preparing of financial reports. Producing of final accounts. Managing the subcontract and materials orders. Developing commercial awareness of the site team. The requirements Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include: Minimum 8- 10 years of experience in a previous role. Driven and highly motivated quantity surveyor/ commercial manager. Extensive proven experience in delivering large complex projects. Involvement in working on large scale new build. Proven track record working for a main contractor. Strong IT skills. Solid team management experience. Strong communication skills. Qualifications With qualification in BTech or diploma in civil engineering. Mace is an equal opportunity employer.
