Req. for - Senior Engineer- Mechanical Infra (EV)

Job Description

ROLE
• Should have experience in Chemical / Process Plant Mechanical equipment with knowledge of International Standards for both Static & Rotating equipment related design activities covering Cost Estimation, Design & equipment Layout.
• Experience with Static Equipment in design and detail engineering of columns, pressure vessels, Cooling towers, all types of heat exchangers, API tanks and packaged equipment such as fired heater, boiler, air fin fan cooler etc.
• Experience in Package water treatment systems, filtration systems etc. for cooling water systems in built environment project.
• Experience with Rotating equipment Engineers in designing rotating equipment and packages such as Pumps, Blowers, Compressors etc.
• Experience in Energy and Mass balance and Energy recovery system designs for Built Environment projects
• Experience in Chilled water system
• Experience in O2, Carbon Free Air, Nitrogen generating and distribution systems
• Knowledge of ASME codes and API / TEMA/ API / HIS / ASME / BS/ CTI/ ISO standards for static and rotating equipment.
• Conduct review of model with respect to P&ID, equipment datasheets/ vendor drawings, other discipline inputs before passing over to AUTO CAD, SP3D/PDMS designer.
• Check piping isometrics with respect to 3D model, P&ID, equipment vendor drawing, instrument hook up and all related interface drawings.
• Familiar with Design calculations, Preparation & Review of Mechanical Datasheets/specifications
• Interfacing required with different Engineering disciplines
• Candidate shall be familiar and acquainted with various software of 3D model reviews and AutoCAD.
• Experience in AFT FATHOM & ARROW /EPANET/HTRI/CEASER/HAMMER is preferable
• Candidates must have experience providing BIM execution oversight, model management, model QC support.
• Should have Good Communication Skills & should be proficient in English language.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Will be working within a multidisciplinary project team taking instruction from other members of the team, but equally able to work under your own initiative.
• Understand the principles of Safety in Design and their application.
• Design the drawings according to markups and specifications.
• Translate and convert hand drawings and sketches into BIM (Building Information Modelling) systems.
• Read, evaluate and interpret designs and drawings.
• Create and implement work methodologies and strategies.
• Document and update all drawings.
• Working within the companys quality-assured delivery processes and delivering output to the required level of quality.
,Qualifications
• Possess Minimum Bachelors or diploma degree in mechanical engineering from a reputed university / institute.
• Should have experience in Piping Engineering, especially in design and layout in process industries.
• Candidate should be a good team player and shall have excellent communication ability (verbal and written)
• Excellent interpersonal skills: writing, speaking, listening, persuading, and influencing and collaborating.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
