Job Description

    We are looking for a Purchase Manager to oversee procurement, vendor management, and supply chain operations.Roles and Responsibilities Procurement Planning & Inventory Control Managing inventory levels based on sales forecasts, demand planning, and lead times to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Coordinating with internal teams to ensure stock availability aligns with business needs. Vendor Management & Negotiation Identifying, evaluating, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely deliveries. Negotiating contracts, payment terms, and pricing to optimize procurement costs. Supply Chain & Logistics Coordination Overseeing the supply chain process, ensuring smooth procurement, warehousing, and distribution of materials. Working closely with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipments. Compliance & Quality Assurance Ensuring that all purchased goods meet company quality standards, industry regulations, and compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, GMP, sustainability standards). Handling vendor audits and product inspections. Cost Optimization & Budget Management Monitoring procurement budgets, reducing costs through strategic sourcing, and optimizing supplier contracts to enhance profitability without compromising quality. Purchase Order (PO) Management: Create, track, and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely order placement, approval, and fulfillment. Inventory & Ledger Reconciliation: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory reconciliation, and maintain accurate vendor payment ledgers to ensure smooth financial transactions. Risk Management & Contingency Planning Identifying potential supply chain risks (e.g., vendor reliability, price fluctuations, geopolitical issues) and developing strategies to mitigate disruptions in sourcing and supply.Requirements Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the BPC (Beauty, Personal Care) industry. Experience in inventory control Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards for wellness and personal care products.
