Job Description

    This is paid, 16-week initiative with intent to transition our returners to permanent placement. As diverse as our business is, as are the opportunities we have available. Our cohort of Returnship participants will join multidisciplinary teams across a variety of divisions. Your Focus
    • A degree in Mechanical Engineering Discipline with minimum 15+ years of experience in Design Engineering.
    • Detailed Piping engineering activities for industrial plants covering required design calculations, MTOs, Piping Material Specifications, various types of layouts, procurement activity for piping items covering preparation of enquiry specification, review of quotes and preparation of TR, preparation of order specifications, review of vendor drawings, review of piping content for mechanical packages. Knowledge about 3D software packages like SP3D/Revit/Autocad plant etc. is mandatory
    • Should have handled Projects & Piping Design on 3D independently with participation in model reviews.
    • Knowledge on Stress Analysis and working on Hygienic Design shall be an added advantage.
    • Piping Engineering activities to carry out Piping design work based on standard company procedure / other procedures, methods outlined.
    • Timely completion of designs, requisitions and engineering deliverables.
    • Technical guidance to Designers to carry out piping design work as per the requirements of the Project.
    • Adherence to Dept./Discipline Working Instructions and Quality Systems.
    • Overview of work progress and work-hour usage.
    • Working within company budgets
    • Meet client expectations and maintain long-term relationship with client. Attend to client s feedback and any complaints.

    Qualifications - External
    • A degree in Mechanical Engineering Discipline with minimum 10+ years of experience in Design Engineering.
    • You have had a career break of at least 1 year
    • You are interested in returning to work on a permanent basis (both part time and full-time options available)
    • You are driven and thrive in a collaborative team
    • You are available to start the Returnship program in April 2023s.
