Job Description

Roles and responsibilities Working as a Consultant in this team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently execute valuation engagements using income and market approach
  • Analyze business plan of valuation subjects to identify information gaps
  • Assist project lead in finalizing information request lists and question list
  • Set up the fully integrated valuation models based on business plans and inputs provided by the engagement team
  • Perform financial and operational benchmarking
  • Structure and write majority sections of valuation reports and memos, including business overview, industry overview and valuation sections
  • Perform business valuation model reviews
  • Review the work of/guide team members
  • Build strong professional relationship with onshore teams through project work
Essential skills required Education / professional qualifications CA / CFA / CPA / MBA (Specialization in Finance & Investment Management) Prior experience Relevant experience of 2.5 to 5 years in corporate finance / valuations services Technical skills
  • Command over financial statements and financial ratios
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and valuation techniques
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Good understanding of capital markets
  • Knowledge of relevant respective local GAAP or IFRS standards
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (specifically, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint)
  • Command in using research databases such as Capital IQ, Thomson Reuters, among others

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Personal drive and positive attitude to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team and guide juniors whenever required
