Job Description

The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, contributing to the preparation of financial reports, handling GST and TDS processes, performing account reconciliations, and supporting other accounting activities. This position offers a valuable opportunity to work closely with senior accountants and gain hands-on experience in financial reporting and management.Key Responsibilities:
    • Month-End Reporting: Assist in preparing accurate month-end financial reports, ensuring completeness and compliance with company policies.
    • Bank Reconciliation: Support the reconciliation of bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Assist in the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
    • Report Preparation: Contribute to the creation of internal and ad hoc financial reports, providing insights into the financial health of the company.
    • Task Management: Ensure all assigned tasks are completed on time and in accordance with deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Inventory Assistance: Provide support during the semi-annual physical inventory process, helping to ensure accurate record-keeping and reconciliation.
    Qualifications:
    • Education: Pursuing or completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting or a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
    Skills & Competencies:
    • Software Proficiency: Basic knowledge of financial reporting and accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar accounting platforms).
    • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, variances, and discrepancies, and provide actionable insights.
    • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.
    • Motivation & Drive: Proactive, goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Professionalism: High standards of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed.
