The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) is a part of the Office of the CEO Board area, and reports to both SAP SEs Global CEO and the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board. Our mission is to advance SAPs business goals by promoting a culture of integrity, and by mitigating a defined set of legal risks. Our focus includes among others compliance with the FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), UK Bribery Act, and other global anti-corruption and bribery laws.The Global Third Party Partner Audit Team as part of the OEC is responsible for managing audits and compliance assessments of SAPs business partners. SAP executes audit clauses in the agreement with our partners and engages an independent audit firm (for example EY) to perform the audit field work. The Audit Team works closely with the independent audit firms and the field compliance officers to ensure the audit is conducted as planned, the report is generated and next steps are identified and executed.ResponsibilitiesThe Audit Director (APJ) will be expected to take ownership of managing all partner audits in all countries of the APJ region.His/her key responsibilities will be:Is responsible for managing and overseeing audits performed by independent audit firms conducted in the APJ region: Support the nomination of partners for audit, notifying internal stakeholders and the partner of the audit, kick off the audit process, support risk based audit sampling, address any questions or concerns from the partner, constantly oversee the progress of the audit, and address delays and roadblocks during the audit.Serves as liaison between SAP, internal stakeholders from the business and the audit firms in the APJ regionLiaising and working closely with the SAP field compliance team and other OEC teams as neededActively initiates and supports identification of partners to be audited in the APJ region based on risk assessmentAble to independently drive auditsResolves issues with high complexity and cross-bordersDevelops collaborative work relationships within own team, the audit firms, internal stakeholders and cross-functionalCommunicates within works assignment clearly and in a timely mannerServes as trusted advisor and functional peer to other teams at the organizationAs a result of audit findings and recommendations, he/she may work on company policies and procedural change and liaise with multiple areas to align compliance Policies.The position reports to the Head of Global Third Party Partner Audit and enjoys high exposure within the business.Qualifications5 years in a relevant function in the internal control system environment, Legal, Finance, Audit, Compliance or Partner OrganizationBachelors degree from business or law school or equivalent work experienceBig 4 audit firm experience is preferableHands-on with attention to detail and written documentationWillingness to proactively communicate with stakeholdersAbility to do in-depth research and to interpret written guidelines and documentsLocation is open across SAP India office - Bnagalore,Mumbai, Pune and Gurgoan.,
