Job Description

Engage with external stakeholders to understand required product features and plan deliverables as per time lines. Product backlog prioritization in agreement with external and internal stake holders Product Development: Identify and agree product short- term and long- term road- map with stakeholders Master existing systems/ application/ product architecture and identify opportunities for short and long term improvement. Coordinate all stages of product development, from initial concept art, to finalization and distribution. Improve product quality by significantly reducing the defect backlog. Establish adequate security controls in the products to meet global standards. Introduce process changes to maintain quality Technical Management,: Provide architecture guidance with strong focus on solution architecture, architecture artifacts, performance, scaling and security to produce scale- able, flexible, robust and efficient applications based on OOAD/ SOA/ SOAP/ REST and related technologies. Provide technical leadership to a team of excellent software engineers. Instill and follow good and secure software development practices and ensure timely delivery of high- quality products. Identify architectural improvements resulting in increased developer efficiency, product reliability, and responsiveness to new feature requests. Code review, secure coding practices, code refactoring and revamping. Build automation, Continuous Integration (CI) Management, Create technical documents for software products using Visio, Word, PowerPoint and Office Team Management,: Responsible for hiring and mentoring team, helping individuals grow in their careers Having constant dialogue about their aspirations and sharing prompt, clear and actionable feedback about performance Technical Experience: Total of 10 - 14 years of solid hands on coding and development experience using large/ complex application using various Microsoft technologies .NET, ASP.net, Web Forms, SOAP, SOA, MVC, REST, WPF, WCF, C#, JavaScript technologies and SQL Server Design database schema, develop stored procedures. Technical depth to make complex design decisions and the hands- on ability to lead by example. Strong ability on producing/ reviewing high low level design for web application with strong focus on non- functional requirements (NFR) like quality, performance and security Demonstrated information architecture and data modeling concepts. Strong understanding of SOA/ SOAP/ REST, pros and cons and best practices. Extensive experience in various aspects of database technology including the data modeling, database performance, data migration and database design Expert in Data structures, Algorithm, Design Patterns and Coding Best Practices. Strong experience in design reviews, code reviews, and test case reviews Solid expertise and understanding of CI integration, build automation Management, with TFS/ Jenkins/ SVN, secure coding practices, code review, code refactoring. Strong experience with Web Forms., LINQ, AngularJS, SQL Server 2008/ 2012 Strong experience with Visual Studio 2008 or later. Strong experience with .NET Framework 3.5 or later (experience with .NET 4.0 is a plus) . Experience with Entity Framework and TFS Technology skills: ASP.NET, Dot NET, MVC, WPF, WCF, C#, JavaScript, JSON, JQuery SOAP, IIS, SOA, REST Web Services SQL Server 2008/ 2012 (T- SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions) . MS- Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio Jenkins, TFS, Git, SVN Professional skills: Sound understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Sound analytical and grasping skills to understand business / functional / nonfunctional requirements. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with developers / designer,
