Senior Manager Component Design & Simulation

Job Description

We are seeking a highly accomplished and technically driven Senior Manager - Component Design & Simulation (CAD/FEA) to lead advanced engineering simulation and component development initiatives. This leadership role will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams responsible for structural durability, fatigue life prediction, thermal performance, and advanced CAE-driven product validation.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in CAD/FEA methodologies, strong people leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving high-performance engineering solutions for complex mechanical systems and components.Key Responsibilities:- Lead and mentor engineering managers and simulation teams executing:
• Structural analysis
• Fatigue & durability simulations
• Thermal & coupled-field simulations
• Linear and nonlinear FEA studies
- Drive end-to-end component development activities from concept to production validation.- Establish engineering simulation strategies, best practices, and design standards.- Collaborate closely with product engineering, manufacturing, R&D, testing, and quality teams.- Review and approve simulation methodologies, assumptions, boundary conditions, and validation approaches.- Ensure optimization of component performance, reliability, weight, and manufacturability.- Guide root-cause analysis and failure investigations using CAE insights.- Lead design reviews and technical decision-making for critical engineering programs.- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and stakeholder communication.- Build and scale high-performing simulation and CAD engineering teams.- Drive innovation through automation, AI-driven simulation workflows, and digital engineering initiatives.
