Job Description

Position Description Primary Responsibilities:

    1. Technical leader who can guide and mentor development team. Responsible for technical and delivery management. Lead development of Web applications using latest full stack skills on Java Tech stack.
    2. Leading the Implementation best engineering practices on CI,CD,CT and automated code reviews
    3. Should be hands-on leader and should be able to optimize code and maintain good design practices
    4. Good Team player and thought leader, change/innovation agents and self-starter on different techs
    5. Ready to take up any technical challenges and should be research oriented
    6. Should be adaptable and transformable to learn latest technologies as per business needs
    7. Reporting Team performance metrics to senior leadership
  • R equired Skills:
  1. 1+ Years experience on Java based Development and leading teams
  2. Web-based API development, especially RESTful APIs
  3. Web-based front-end development using JavaScript with ReactJS preferred
  4. Good Team leader, change/innovation agents and self-starter
  5. Strong process experience on waterfall and agile practices
  6. Able to provide guidance to team and provide status to senior management
  7. Co-ordinate with other Eng.Managers, SAs, Tech Leads to distribute the user stories.
  8. Participates in grooming of their teams stories
  9. Identify when architecture solutions and patterns are needed and involves others as needed
  10. Ensures team is following best practices
  11. Remove barriers to delivery for team
  12. Participates in business prioritization discussions to advise on dependencies, complexity, and feasibility
  13. Ensure correct fitment of resources in each scrum teams
  14. Active participation in all scrum ceremonies Sprint Planning, Sprint Demos, Retros etc.
  15. Initiate Scrum-Of-Scrum
  16. Do Agile Maturity Assessment, track agile metrics, lay action plans for any improvement areas
  17. IT Guidance during Ideation, MVP, and Capability grooming. Feature roadmap grooming
  18. Sound DevOps architecture knowledge related to Continuous Integration/Delivery solutions & Platform Automation.
  19. Exposure to Tools - Jenkins, GIT, Sonar, Fortify, Selenium.
  20. Strong experience in Java, Spring/Struts, Hibernate, Web Services (SOAP & REST), Springboot. Exposure on Azure is a plus.
  21. Proficient in UI Technologies Angular 4/6, Typescript/Javascript, node.js etc.
