Job Description

Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer ScienceAbout the teamThis role is a part of our MPS Development Team. Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application.What you will be doing

  • Following best practices / methodologies thorough understanding of the technology road-map, advancement to design/development process and providing innovative solutions
  • Plays a key role in resolving technical roadblocks involving multiple technologies
  • Works with Tech Leads to ensure that assigned work is completed efficiently, meets business requirements, stays within scope, and is delivered on time
  • Responsible for writing Technical documents
  • Continually improve quality of development team deliverable and ensures code reviews, unit testing and integration testing is completed efficiently and effectively
  • Participate in production deployment of the application components that needs to be implemented and Assisting in the identification, isolation, resolution and communication of problems within the production environment
  • An Individual contributor role more inclined towards the Development activities
What you bring:
  • Should have minimum 3 years of relevant experience on C Development.
  • Good working experience on Unix VI editor.
  • Good working experience on SQL server database.
  • Good working experience on Shell Script or Perl Script.
Added bonus if you have:
  • Knowledge of FIS products and services
  • Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
  • Knowledge of financial services industry
  • Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
