Job Description

    Position Title: SQL/PLSQL DeveloperExperience Level: 5 YearsLocation: GurgaonEmployment Type: [Full-Time]Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced SQL/PLSQL Developer to join our team. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and optimizing databasesolutions. They will work closely with business analysts, data architects, and applicationdevelopers to ensure seamless integration of database solutions into our applications andprocesses. The candidate should have experience in Data warehousing projects and workedon at least one ETL tool like Informatica, ODI, Datastage etc, also have good understandingof Data warehousing concept and data modelling skills.Key Responsibilities
    1. Database Development:o Write and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions,triggers, and packages.o Design and optimize PLSQL-based solutions for high-performancetransactional and analytical applications.o Implement advanced database features like partitions, materialized views,and indexing strategies.
    2. Performance Tuning:o Analyze and optimize SQL queries and PLSQL code for performanceimprovement.o Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks in database operations.
    3. Data Integration & ETL:o Develop and maintain ETL processes to integrate data from various sources.o Handle data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment as per requirements.o Good understanding of data warehouse concepts.o Worked on data modelling Facts and Dimensions.
    4. Collaboration & Documentation:o Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements andtranslate them into technical specifications.o Create and maintain documentation for database designs, data models, andcodebases.
    Required Skills & Qualifications
    1. Technical Skills:o Proficiency in SQL and PLSQL development (Oracle preferred).o Strong understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, andindexing.o Experience with query optimization and troubleshooting performance issues.o Familiarity with database tools like TOAD, SQL Developer, or similar.o Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA.o Knowledge of ETL tools (Tableau, OBIEE) and Data Integration tools(Informatica, ODI).o Understanding of cloud database services (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL) isadded advantage.o
    2. Analytical Skills:o Ability to analyze complex requirements and design efficient databasesolutions.o Strong problem-solving skills to resolve technical challenges effectively.
    3. Communication Skills:o Excellent written and verbal communication to collaborate with stakeholderseffectively.o Ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
    4. Experience:o Hands-on experience with Oracle databases (version 11g or higher).o Experience in database migration, data warehousing, or working with large datasets is a plus.
