Ensure availability of Database services as per client s agreement. Ensure the consistent Level - 2 support to team and customers Ensure SLAs for ticket are met. Ensure DBs are available, reliable, work at optimum performance and all the Best practices are followed. Management of Mean Time To Restore Service targets Provision of technical consultancy to development plans and projects Ensure legal requirements are adhered to for the licensing Provision of effective and efficient running of the systems and ensure its optimum performance Regularly upload Technical Instructions. about you L2 level knowledge in SQL Server Database administration version 20121416. Excellent Knowledge and experience in SQL Server instance installation, configuration, Performance Tuning, DB upgrade, migration, DB cloning. Good experience in SQL Server Clustering (Design, Installation, Configuration, Administration) Good Knowledge and experience in Backup and Recovery including native and other tools. Good knowledge and hands on experience of database HADR. Basic knowledge on SSIS, SSRS, SSAS. Good knowledge on SQL Server Always ON, Mirroring, Replication and Logshipping. Good understanding of Windows (powershell Scripting preferred) and virtualization. Good experience in handling Mission critical DB environments and designing DB specific solutions. Willingness to provide database support on rotational basis, 24 X 7, when needed. Strong communication skills and Good interpersonal skills and has good client handling experience. Should be a team player and mentor the team when needed. Ability to quickly take ownership of new technologies in hisher technical domain. Basic understand in administration of Open source DBs(PostgreSQL, MySql etc) or NoSQL DBs (MongoDB / Couchbase / Cassandra / Neo4j / ElasticSearch etc.) Exposure to public cloud(AWS, Azure etc) would be added advantage. additional information University degree in Engineering or Science, Master degree in Computer Science/Applications or BS Computer or equivalent with 60% or above. 4 - 7 Years of experience with minimum 4 years relevant experience. Person must have certification in SQL Server 20121416. ,
