Job Description

Define new quality assurance mechanism and processes. Lead by example in manual testing and develop automation testing processes.You might be the person we re looking for if you

  • BE / BTech Computer Science or equivalent
  • Total Software Testing Experience of 5 to 7 years
  • Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in testing Web based Business Applications
  • Have good exposure to SDLC and have done Manual & Automated testing
  • Have used various frameworks, technologies and best practices for Software Quality Assurance
  • Have excellent communication skills and experience in interacting with clients in US and UK
Specifically, you will
  • Prepare test cases for testing existing and new features in the application.
  • Record results in a centralized Defect Management system.
  • Record and describe failed test cases.
  • Provide status reports on a per application basis.
  • Execute the test cases for all types of manual testing
Skills for Success
  • Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter and attention to detail .
  • Excellent writing skills (for English as a second language).
  • Able to draft test cases for a given set of use cases or functional requirements
  • Able to describe unexpected results in sufficient detail so that business analysts and/or software developers may replicate the results.
  • Fluent with the use Microsoft Office products (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and related software (such as Adobe Acrobat).
  • Able to quickly learn new software applications used by attorneys and legal staff.
Software Proficiency
  • Experience in any scripting language
  • Basic knowledge of database queries and scripts
  • Experience with a test management tool like QC, VS / TFS, JIRA
  • Experience with a test automation tool
Work Experience
  • Should have worked for 5 years or more as a Software Tester with a reputed organization.
  • Must have experience of product development life cycle/ Product Development Organisation
Qualification
  • BE/ B-Tech or equivalent.
