    QualificationsMinimum 5 years scheduling/planning experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience with planning systems such as SAP IBPLearns new systems readily and quicklyDemonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and take action to deliver improvement in cost, supply and/or elimination of NVA workDemonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas including manufacturing, SC, procurement, customer service to achieve shared goalsDemonstrated ability to effectively facilitate cross-functional teams during supply issues and find solutionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to manage complex situation(s) and resolve issues that arise from balancing multiple prioritiesBias for actionBusiness acumenB.S. Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, preferredASCM (APICS) CPIM or CSCP certification preferredResponsibilitiesThe Supply Chain Assistant works directly with the Commercial Vehicle Supply Chain Planner, and supply chain team to perform the critical role of balancing supply with demand to ensure delivery of product to the market to satisfy the sales plan while managing cost and working capital impact.Work closely with commercial, operations, supply, shipping teams to gather information inputs to improve service level situationDaily follow up to materials, customer orders, production statusCoordinate communication & meetings with commercial team, operations, supply, shipping, etc, to align prioritiesUpdate and maintain excel shared files related to demand, supply, production, customers, etcCV Demand planner support in several activities & reporting to ensure the proper KPIs, priorities alignment, and communication with other areas
    • ++ communication skills, managing and coordinating meetings, taking notes, aligning path-forward, conclusions, etc
    • ++ data analytics & analysis , managing excel files, getting info together, having conclusions from data
    • ++ excel skills, SAP (planning, production, shipping)
