Job Description

    Role OverviewThis is a critical leadership role in the Hotels Supply ecosystem for both MakeMyTrip and Goibibo brands. This role is responsible for leading Independent Domestic Hotels supply teams for multiple regions across India. The incumbent would have end-to-end responsibility of leading growth for all hotels in the regional portfolio. This would involve sharing necessary business insights and recommendations with key external stakeholders and ensuring smooth execution of agreed actionable by coordinating with cross-functional teams.Key Role Expectations
    1. Conceptualizing and executing supply strategy for respective regions across the nation.
    2. Forging strategic relationships with small-mid-large-scale hotel accounts for Domestic Brands.
    3. Gaining business and financial acumen from internal and external stakeholders.
    4. Leading a large team that consists of Regional Mangers, Key account managers, Zonal Managers and Business Development Managers.
    5. Partnering with Product, Tech, Revenue and Category teams for driving Org and SBU level goals.
    Key Responsibility Areas1. Relationship and Account Management:
    • The leader will be responsible for connecting and engaging with the Leadership team members, General Managers, and Sales heads of hotels and will be responsible for driving sustainable performance of the portfolio in all channels.
    • Collaborating with partners in the portfolio and providing expertise, metrics, analysis, and recommendations based on the industrys best practices.
    2. Portfolio Management and Driving Growth:
    • Grow net revenue in the market by producing business plans to achieve revenue goals, ensuring inventory levels exceed demand throughout the market, and ensuring rate competitiveness across multiple available platforms.
    • Creating and carving separate business strategies for different channels.
    3. Business Data-driven Decision Making:
    • Establish and maintain supplier relationships, understand nuances of wholesale business, review monthly production reports and provide data based feedback to hotel partners to help improve business achievements.
    • Building market intelligence, preparing geography-wise and service-wise sales plans, and achieving them.
    • Sharing insights on the market and industry with the clients and internal stakeholders.
    4. Negotiating:
    • Networking, Deal initiating, negotiation & closing deal with clients.
    • Strategize in order to market the hotel in a better way. It helps hotel partners to serve the needs of their customers and at the same time grow their businesses
