Technicians are skilled professionals employed in almost every industry. They repair, install, replace, and service different systems and equipment. Technicians typically work alongside other skilled workers and should be able to read instructions and communicate effectively.Technicians possess technical knowledge that enables them to fix or repair faulty equipment. The repairs might be minor or complex and take minutes, hours or days to complete. For example, repairing a faulty electrical socket is quicker than rewiring a building. Technicians communicate effectively with clients and colleagues to provide an estimated repair time.
