Job Description

    Position OverviewWe are seeking a talented and creative Textile Designer specializing in Home Furnishing Export to join our dynamic team in Gurugram. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for textile design and a keen eye for detail, particularly in catering to US Buyers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile design, with a focus on home textiles and embroidery, and will be responsible for creating innovative designs that meet the needs of our clients.Key Responsibilities
    • Develop and create original textile designs for home furnishing products, ensuring alignment with market trends and client specifications.
    • Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and can be produced within the required timelines.
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in home textiles and incorporate findings into design concepts.
    • Prepare and present design concepts to clients, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance designs.
    • Oversee the sampling process, ensuring that the final products meet quality standards and design specifications.
    • Maintain an organized portfolio of designs and samples for reference and client presentations.
    • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials that showcase new collections and designs.
    QualificationsThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
    • A minimum of 4 to 9 years of experience in textile design, specifically in home textiles.
    • Proficiency in textile design software and tools.
    • Strong understanding of embroidery techniques and their application in textile design.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
    • A creative mindset with a strong attention to detail and a passion for innovation in textile design.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
    • A degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field is preferred.
    This is a full-time position with a day schedule and requires on-site work.
