Job Description

Job Title: Senior Merchandiser & PD MerchandiserCompany: Garments ExportLocation: Noida Phase 2 / GurugramSalary: 4-6 LPA (No bar for deserving candidate)Experience: 3-8 yearsQualification:Good University Fashion DiplomaJob Responsibilities:Product Development (PD):Handle the entire product development cycle for kids, knit, and woven garments.Oversee the creation of designs, samples, and prototypes.Work closely with design teams to ensure product designs meet market trends and buyer requirements.Merchandising:Manage merchandising for kids, knit, and woven garments from sourcing to delivery.Coordinate with various internal teams (design, production, and logistics) to ensure smooth product development and delivery.Ensure timely and cost-effective product deliveries, maintaining high-quality standards.Buyer Relationship Management:Independently manage international buyer accounts.Serve as the primary point of contact for international buyers, maintaining clear and effective communication.Negotiate with buyers on product specifications, prices, and delivery timelines.Follow up on orders, resolve any issues, and ensure satisfaction.Production Management:Work closely with production teams to ensure adherence to quality and timelines.Oversee production schedules and ensure products are manufactured according to the specifications.Coordination & Liaison:Act as the key liaison between buyers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of orders.Address any product or production-related issues, ensuring quick resolutions.Skills & Requirements:Experience:3-8 years of experience in merchandising and product development for kids, knit, and woven garments.Prior experience handling international buyers independently is a must.Strong experience in both PD and Production Merchandising roles.Communication Skills:Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).Strong negotiation skills for working with international clients and vendors.Computer Skills:Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and any industry-specific software (ERP systems, etc.).Product Knowledge:In-depth understanding of kids, knit, and woven garment categories.Ability to evaluate designs and ensure they meet quality and market trends.Organizational Skills:Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and maintain attention to detail.Strong time management skills to meet production deadlines and client expectations.
