Job Description

    Urgently Hiring General Manager - Projects For A Leading Construction CompanyLocation-GurgaonJob Summary:The General Manager - Projects will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of multiple projects across different sectors. You will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This leadership role involves managing teams, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, and continuously improving project processes and outcomesKey Responsibilities:
    • Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
    • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to achieve project objectives.
    • Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, manage subcontractors, and ensure optimal utilization of materials and labor.
    • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to prevent delays and cost overruns.
    • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and local regulations.
    • Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders on project status, costs, and issues.
    • Budget Management: Control project budgets, manage financial forecasts, and work towards cost-saving measures.
    • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, designers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with design specifications and client requirements. Technology & Innovation: Promote the use of AI and technology for enhancing project delivery, particularly for project management and construction workflows .
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
    • 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
    • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects, particularly in commercial and residential interior construction.
    • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar).
    • Strong financial acumen and experience managing project budgets.
    • Familiarity with local construction regulations and safety standards.
