Workday Payroll Consultant

Job Description

Overview:We are looking for a skilled Workday Payroll Business Analyst to collaborate closely with Payroll and HR teams, translating business requirements into efficient Workday Payroll configurations. The role involves supporting various functional areas such as Payroll, Security, and User Experience, while contributing to continuous improvement in a dynamic Agile/SAFe environment.Key Responsibilities:
• Partner with Payroll and HR stakeholders to understand their requirements and design effective Workday Payroll solutions.
• Provide support across multiple functional domains including Payroll operations, Security settings, and enhancing User Experience.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including business requirements, user stories, test plans, and process workflows.
• Analyze integrated Workday functionalities like Organizations, Job Catalog, Delegation, Branding, and Language Translation.
• Stay informed on the latest Workday updates and industry best practices to recommend innovative solutions.
• Actively participate in Agile/SAFe ceremonies and iterative development processes.
Mandatory Qualifications:
• 2 to 8 years of hands-on experience configuring Workday Payroll.
• Strong grasp of Workdays cross-functional features and capabilities.
• Proven ability to gather, document, and manage business requirements effectively.
• Skilled at bridging communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, with a preference for SAFe experience.
• Thorough understanding of end-to-end payroll operations.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Workday enhancements and feature sets.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Workday Certification in Payroll or related modules.
• Experience with additional HR technology platforms.
Educational Background:
• Bachelors degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), MCA, MBA, or equivalent.
