Job Description

    Accounts & Finance ManagerRoles and Responsibilities:1. Financial Management:- Oversee the preparation and management of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.- Manage budgeting processes and conduct variance analysis to control financial performance.- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders.2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:- Supervise the accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure efficient processing of invoices and collections.- Monitor cash flow and work closely with the finance team to optimize working capital.3. Tax Compliance:- Ensure timely preparation and submission of all tax returns and compliance with relevant tax regulations.- Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.5. Financial Analysis and Reporting:- Conduct financial analysis, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.- Prepare reports for management that highlight financial performance trends and potential areas for improvement.6. Team Leadership and Development:- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.7. Stakeholder Collaboration:- Liaise with various departments (such as sales, procurement, and operations) to provide financial insights and support business objectives.- Engage with external partners, including auditors, suppliers, and banks, to ensure smooth financial operations.8. Policy Development:- Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.- Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical standards within the finance team.9.
