Job Description

    Room Service Captain supervises room service operations by ensuring timely and accurate food and beverage delivery, training staff, managing guest relations, overseeing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety. Key duties include taking orders, preparing service carts, setting up dining areas in guest rooms, and handling guest feedback to provide a high-quality, seamless experience. Key Responsibilities
    • Supervision & Training: Lead, train, and mentor room service staff to ensure they meet high service standards and operational procedures.
    • Order Management: Take food and beverage orders over the phone or through a computer system, ensuring accuracy and relaying them to the kitchen.
    • Service Delivery: Deliver food and beverages to guest rooms using carts, setting up trays and tables, and ensuring guests have everything they need.
    • Guest Relations: Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism, working to ensure guest satisfaction and a positive experience.
    • Operational Oversight: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of room service areas, including equipment and supplies.
    • Inventory & Supply: Monitor and manage supplies, stocking stations, and ensuring all necessary items are available for service.
    • Menu Knowledge: Possess complete knowledge of all menu items, cooking methods, and beverage selections.
