Job Description

As an Export Shipment Manager at Maersk Area Office, your role is crucial in delivering on the SCM Strategy within the specified geographical area. You will be responsible for managing End-to-End Export Shipments for ocean FCL as well as Air mode. Your key responsibilities will include:- Handling the full lifecycle of Export shipments, from container planning to export documentation and customs clearance.- Coordinating with CHA/Shipping line to ensure accurate and timely shipping documentation.- Monitoring shipment milestones and addressing delays or issues proactively.- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure alignment on shipping timelines and documentation needs.- Preparing and submitting required MIS/DSR reports to stakeholders without error.- Training and supporting junior team members as needed.Your required skills for this role include proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI. In terms of qualifications, you should have a Bachelors degree or equivalent in business or a related field. Additionally, you should have a background in SCM with a proper understanding of international supply chains and a minimum of 9 years of work experience in operational roles in the logistics industry.This position offers you the opportunity to play a significant role in the delivery of SCM Strategy within the designated area.
