We are looking for a competentMaintenance Supervisorto manage maintenance in our facilities. You will be responsible for hiring and training staff and ensuring the smooth running of upkeep or repair operations.An excellent maintenance supervisor must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. They must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing etc. Leadership andknowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling are also essential.ResponsibilitiesCarefully read manuals of equipment and interpret them to understand how to operate and maintain them properlyInspect newly acquired equipment upon arrival, checking every part to be sure that they are working and meet up with industry standards before they are put to use in the factoryKeep record of maintenance activities to track the lifespan of equipment. When equipment breakdown continues too frequently after repeated fixing, it will need to be replacedCarry out routine servicing of equipment as part of measures to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions, which could thwart production activitiesEnsure cleanliness of machine and machine components by making use of cloths, vacuum or other appliancesExamine or carry out tasks on broken machine parts and identify defective parts or give recommendations to supervisors on repair requirementsReplace, fix or realign machine parts and accessories in line with production specificationsApplication of adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machines or their parts as well as other equipment in accordance with stated proceduresPut machine parts together after accomplishing all maintenance and repair workCommunicate with management to inform them about equipment faults and best maintenance techniques to implement for maximum performanceRegardsNabanita (HR)hidden_mobile
