Job Description

Requirement for Procurement and supply chain management Handling of Purchase Activity for various Projects including International Supplies . The work involves from the stage of floating the enquiry, Making Comparative Statement, Negotiations with vendors & releasing of Order, Coordinating with Projects, Quality Control, Accounts, Dispatch, Operations Team & Client etc. for any Approval, Third Party Inspection (SGS & Bureau Veritas), Forwarders for exporting the material from India to various countries like Cameroon, Bangladesh, Burundi, Ghana, Iraq, Muscat, Dubai, Nigeria, Nepal, Myanmar, Kenya, Afghanistan etc.., arranging all supporting Docs to Exporting Material and Payment to suppliers. Ocean and air exports for International Projects, Ability to multi-task and develop lasting relationships with customers and external parties through negotiations and discussions, Team-working, time management and communication skills. Handling independently Purchase Activity for All Overseas Logistics with little Assistance. The work involves from the stage of floating the enquiry, Making Comparative Statement, Negotiations release of Orders, Coordinating with Shipper & Projects for Forwarding of material to required destination on CIF/DDU/CNF Basis. MIS information to management like PO Tracker, PO CCC, H Form Data, CT1 Data, Payment Status and ABC Analysis. Attending WRM & QRMs regularly. Experience in handling for Procurement various electrical equipment such as Transformers, Cables, Conductor, Breakers, Switchgears, Isolators, Insulators, Accessories, and Hardware's Etc., Post Procurement Activities like following up with the vendor for expediting the Purchase Orders (regularly telephonically and sometimes visiting the vendors premises if need be), getting the materials inspected by constantly coordinating with the vendors, getting the material and documents related to them cleared by the inspecting agency, getting the material dispatched.
