• Provide CBR Program expertise to Commander, Third Fleet
• Act as liaison between Commander, Third Fleet and NSWC PCD
• Develops and maintains cash flow models to value R&D projects, provides a consistent financial basis for prioritizing projects and allocating resources, and evaluates capital investment opportunities
• Develops and maintains forecasting models for necessary raw materials, products, and utilities values and interacts with various business groups to ensure alignment of R&Ds tools with business beliefs
• Provides financial analysis to I&D R&D supported businesses by analyzing competitive intelligence from consultant reports and commercial contacts, updating cost of production models and industry cost curves and presenting results to R&D and business management
• Facilitates Gate and Portfolio Management meetings, supports the budget development process and Tax & Accounting on R&D project related evaluation matters
• Evaluates new or emerging technologies, growth opportunities, and plant improvement projects
• Responsible for developing conceptual process flowsheets including heat and material balances, sized equipment lists, process simulations, and capital and operating cost estimates to support R&D and Business organizations
• Works effectively with R&D researchers, project management, business/financial groups and management for competent execution of job responsibilities
• Develops and maintains discounted cash flow models to value R&D projects, provides a consistent financial basis for prioritizing projects and allocating resources, and evaluates capital investment opportunities
