Job Description

Role Overview:The F&O professional will be responsible for analyzing, trading, and managing positions in futures and options markets. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, the ability to forecast market trends, and the application of trading strategies to generate profits or minimize losses. The individual may work for a financial institution, trading firm, or asset management company, with a focus on managing risk and capital.Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Analysis:
   • Conduct in-depth technical and fundamental analysis to forecast market trends and identify trading opportunities in the futures and options markets.
   • Monitor economic indicators, financial news, and industry reports to stay ahead of market movements.
2. Trade Execution:
   • Execute trades in futures and options contracts, ensuring compliance with internal risk management guidelines.
   • Continuously monitor positions and make adjustments based on market movements and emerging opportunities.
3. Risk Management:
   • Develop and implement strategies to minimize risk while optimizing returns.
   • Use advanced risk management techniques, including setting stop-loss orders, managing margin requirements, and portfolio diversification.
4. Strategy Development:
   • Design and test new trading strategies based on data analysis and modeling.
   • Backtest strategies using historical data and adjust them for different market conditions.
5. Reporting and Compliance:
   • Maintain accurate records of trades, strategies, and performance metrics.

6. Collaboration:
