Full job descriptionAbout the Role The Director, Operations at AAD is responsible for guiding a team of talented individuals in a variety of areas, including manufacturing, technical support, supply chain and process implementation and improvement, at an exciting and growing scientific research company in the RTP area of North Carolina. This role is expected to be on site, during standard business hours. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
• Oversee manufacturing of multiple device lines
• Oversee manufacturing of multiple test lines
• Provide senior leadership with production metrics
• Oversee customer technical support and related service metrics
• Work with the Engineering team to solve technical issues
• Oversee supply chain and order fulfillment
• Be responsible for EHS compliance
Skills and Qualifications
• The ideal candidate will be comfortable in the role of high-level management and also be willing to roll up the sleeves when the need arises.
• Experience operating in an FDA or equivalent cGMP environment.
• Ability to work in an entrepreneurial small-company environment.
• Role expectations will be tailored to the candidates experience and growth potentials in the position.
