Job Description

    Head - Finance & AccountsPosition OverviewWe are looking for a seasoned Finance/Accounts Head with at least 15 years of progressive experience to lead the Accounts & Finance function of a manufacturing organization. The role demands deep expertise in GST, statutory compliance, fund flow management, vendor management, and government licensing within a structured manufacturing environment operating multiple ERP or accounting systems.This is a strategic yet hands-on leadership position, offering end-to-end ownership of finance operations, compliance governance, and financial control across the organization.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Leadership & ControlLead and oversee the complete finance and accounting function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.Manage a team of 3 finance professionals and drive capability enhancement.Establish strong internal controls, SOPs, and audit-ready documentation processes.2. Fund Flow & Working Capital ManagementManage and monitor monthly fund flows.Oversee cash flow planning, liquidity management, and banking relationships.Optimize working capital cycles including receivables, payables, and inventory controls.Coordinate with banks/financial institutions for credit facilities and compliance requirements.3. GST & Statutory ComplianceEnsure complete compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory regulations applicable to manufacturing entities.Oversee timely filing of returns, reconciliations (GSTR-2A/2B, 3B, 1), and statutory payments.Liaise with tax consultants, auditors, and regulatory authorities.Manage statutory, internal, and tax audits effectively.4. Manufacturing AccountingOversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, BOM validation, and production accounting.Monitor cost structures and recommend margin improvement strategies.Ensure accurate accounting in tall/independent software systems and ERP environments.5. Vendor & Stakeholder ManagementManage vendor payments, reconciliations, and contractual financial obligations.Strengthen vendor negotiation processes from a financial risk perspective.Ensure compliance with vendor documentation, GST compliance validation, and payment discipline.6. Government Licensing & Regulatory CoordinationHandle financial aspects of government licenses and regulatory approvals.Ensure documentation and compliance for industrial registrations and statutory requirements.Represent the organization in financial discussions with authorities when required.7. Reporting & MISPrepare monthly MIS, financial statements, and management reports.Present financial insights to leadership with actionable recommendations.Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial planning exercises.Candidate RequirementsQualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) ; Cost & Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA) ; B.Com with MBA (Finance) preferredExperience: 15 years in finance/accounting roles, preferably in plastics, polymer, or chemical manufacturing.Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards (Ind AS), GST, corporate tax, and audit compliance.Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.Expertise in cost control, margin analysis, and profitability improvement.Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Tally, Oracle, etc.) and reporting tools.Knowledge of export finance, foreign exchange regulations, and international trade compliance is ideal Key CompetenciesHigh financial integrity and governance mindsetStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsDetail-oriented with strategic oversightStrong coordination with cross-functional stakeholdersExcellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.Interested can send their updated resume our calling and WhatsApp number is 8.7.9.6.5.0.7.5.9.9
