Project and Utilities Manager

Job Description

Under general direction, plans, organizes, coordinates, and directs the maintenance and operation of water, sewer and storm, collection systems, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition, street lighting, shipping and receiving, and fleet maintenance; administers budget for assigned maintenance and operations activities; and performs other job related work as required.Responsibilities:Manage the company utilities operations, including energy procurement, usage management, and cost optimization.Develop and implement energy management strategies to reduce costs and improve efficiency.Work with external energy suppliers and contractors to negotiate contracts and ensure competitive pricing.Monitor and analyze energy usage data, and identify opportunities for improvement.Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, such as renewable energy projects and carbon reduction programs.Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and energy suppliers.Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in utilities management, and share insights with colleagues and clients.
