Job Description

Research, write and develop work products and committee deliverables (white papers, executive summaries, survey reports, online resources, requests for proposals, etc.) relevant to the association, its members, and stakeholdersConduct independent research on state inquiries, emerging issues, and association prioritiesServe as the point of contact for research projects and partnered programsSupport committees and work groups in fulfilling their purposes/charge, achieving objectives, communicating information, and developing work productsReview and analyze information from a range of sources and synthesizes that information to determine the relevance and effect on the association, members, and stakeholders.Research and identify innovative programming and initiatives in state government operations and synthesize details to be shared with members.Develops industry knowledge and stays abreast of changes and key issues affecting the associations membership.Responds to association inquires and requests for information with knowledgeable, developed, and articulate responses.Represent the association with strategic partners, as needed, on external committees and at conferences, meetings, and on conference calls; plan/participate in briefings and outreach on key issues.Develop and foster partnerships with key association contacts, sponsors, and partnerships. Provide a high level of customer service and monitor and respond timely to all member inquiries and requests (phone, email, web form) Work independently as an individual contributor requiring little supervision/oversight but also can work collaboratively as a strong team player.
