Job Description

    • Do not apply if your background is in Service/Calibration Engineering or Project Management. This position is exclusively for those with experience in Technical Sales.
    We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Engineer specializing in Process Control and Instrumentation. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in instrumentation and process control systems, coupled with a passion for sales.Roles and Responsibilities
    • Manage sales of process control instrumentation products such as sensors, transmitters, flow meters, thermocouples, temperature gauges, level switches, field instruments, pressure gauges, and BMS systems.
    • Create new accounts and maintain relationships with clients.
    • Engage with a variety of clients, including consultants, contractors, and end customers.
    • Conduct Client Visits for Pressure Instruments, Temperature Instruments, Level Instruments, HVAC/BMS Sensors, Air Quality Sensors, and Water Quality Sensors to understand their needs.
    • Prepare quotations tailored to client requirements.
    • Ensure a smooth transition for new clients from initial contact to becoming a regular customer.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure loyalty and maximize opportunities.
    • Regularly follow up with clients to understand their changing needs.
    • Use effective negotiation strategies to reach beneficial agreements with clients.
    • Close deals in a way that aligns with Omicrons business goals and ensures customer satisfaction.
    Desired Candidate Profile
    • Bachelors degree in engineering or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a field sales role, preferably in the sensing equipment industry.
    • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work remotely with 100% field sales responsibilities.
    • Knowledge of the technical aspects of sensing equipment is an advantage.
    • Develop strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and follow-ups.
