SAP Contract Management Lead

Job Description

The SAP Contract Management Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring SAPs contractual commitments are successfully managed and fulfilled through Commit-to-Consume (C2C) engagements. The position focuses on operational governance, analytical support, contract consumption monitoring, and cross-functional coordination to ensure customers meet contractual consumption commitments while maximizing value realization. The role acts as a bridge between SAPs commercial and technical functions by translating contractual terms and commitments into actionable consumption metrics, insights, and governance activities. Through close collaboration with Customer Delivery Managers (CDMs), Cloud Architects, Finance, Commercial Operations, and Customer stakeholders, the analyst helps secure revenue commitments, improve customer satisfaction, and drive successful cloud adoption outcomes. Key Responsibilities Consumption Monitoring & Risk Management Monitor customer consumption against contractual commitments and C2C targets. Identify consumption risks, adoption gaps, and underutilization trends proactively. Perform forecasting and trend analysis to predict future consumption patterns. Recommend mitigation actions to support achievement of contractual commitments. Reporting & Governance Support Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, governance presentations, and consumption summaries. Provide regular updates on customer consumption health, risks, opportunities, and contract compliance. Support governance reviews and business discussions with accurate consumption insights. Develop and maintain reporting mechanisms to improve visibility into consumption performance. Data Reconciliation & Commercial Alignment Validate SAP landscape, infrastructure, and sizing inputs that influence consumption calculations. Reconcile data across multiple SAP and commercial reporting systems to ensure accuracy. Investigate reporting discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders. Ensure alignment between technical landscape data, contractual commitments, and commercial reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Customer Delivery Managers (CDMs), Finance, Commercial Operations, and Delivery teams to drive consumption governance. Collaborate with Cloud Architects and technical teams to validate landscape assumptions and infrastructure requirements. Support initiatives that improve product adoption, utilization, and contract compliance. Facilitate coordination across technical and commercial teams to ensure consistent contract execution. Business Impact & Revenue Assurance Contribute to securing contracted revenue commitments through effective consumption management. Support customer success initiatives by helping customers realize expected value from SAP cloud solutions. Identify opportunities for optimizing consumption and improving customer engagement. Help drive customer satisfaction through proactive governance and transparent reporting. Collaboration Model The SAP Contract Management Analyst works primarily alongside SAP Customer Delivery Managers (CDMs) to ensure consumption governance aligns with delivery milestones, contractual obligations, and customer success objectives. • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• SAP certifications are desirable.
Experience
• 7 years of experience in SAP operations, SAP Basis, SAP Cloud operations, contract governance, commercial operations, or related functions.
• Experience working in customer-facing or delivery governance environments.
• Experience supporting cloud consumption, subscription management, or contract compliance activities is preferred.
