Required Skills:
  • To read & interpret engineering drawings, routing instructions, manuals, and specifications
  • Create assembly build plans & Bill of materials for Aircraft assemblies.
  • Create Installation plans and Author work instructions.
  • Develop 3D illustrations of assembly plans & processes
  • Implementation & creation of Standard works in Assembly process planning.
  • Ensure the prevailing Installation plans are validated and meet the defined standards.
  • Continuously review the existing assembly process and drive process improvements
  • Knowledge on assembly jigs & Fixtures used for building the assemblies
  • Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
  • ME shipside support for Structural assemblies in production shop floor, Workstations optimization, Part prove-out
  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving
  • Should have excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Execute DFM and producibility studies for new product introductions.
  • Participates in the implementation of manufacturing plans. Investigates technical problems.
  • Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
Desired Skills:
  • 5+ years of work experience as a Process planner in aerospace industry.
  • To be in manufacturing engineering role, relevant experience with Aircraft platforms is desirable.
  • Aware of Planning tools, manufacturing execution systems like SAP-PP & APS platform
  • Hands on experience on Airbus programs is preferable with tools experience - AVL2, TANDEM, TAKSY, Delta, GILDA & APS Platform etc.
  • Working knowledge with CATIA/NX Modelling softwares, 3D Via composer & 3DX Delmia.
