  • FactSet is seeking for a software engineer with proficiency in Python to work on Private Markets Content Pipelines with high scalability, performance , resilience and cost effectiveness.
  • Ownership on end-end product development & deployment deliverables.
  • Contribute to multiple engineering business functions
  • Ensure delivering high quality, re-usable and maintainable code, perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks with in the estimated timelines.
  • Influence Content Collection Pipeline design and innovation
  • Keep up to date with the new standards and practices
  • Strategically explore open-source opportunities to improve our workflows
  • Collaborate with Content stakeholders to understand and prioritize their requirements
  • Ensure adherence to Agile Methodology by working with Coaches, Scrum Masters and Product Owners
  • Performance Improvements with the help of metrics provided by automatic monitoring all engineering artifacts.
Required Skills :
  • B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of experience working professionally as a Python Software Developer
  • Organized, self-directed, and resourceful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional Experience with Python, SQL and Cloud Native Development
  • A passion to provide value by enabling other developers
Highly Desired Skills :
  • Experience with Data Science concepts
  • Experience of Jupyter Notebooks is plus.
  • Experience in responsive web design and building responsive web sites is a plus
  • Experience with Scrum, Kanban or Agile software development in general
  • Experience working with or contributing to open source
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Ability to articulate and quickly adopt development best practices
  • Ability to work as part of a geographically diverse team
