Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Playwright/CypressExperience:6 YearsLocation: CoimbatoreJob Type: Full-Time / PermanentJob Overview:We are hiring a QA Automation Engineer with over 6 years of experience in automated testing, with expertise in Playwright or Cypress. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications by building and maintaining scalable automation frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright or Cypress.Write robust, reusable, and maintainable test scripts for UI and functional testing.Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality releases.Participate in design and code reviews from a QA perspective.Perform regression, integration, and smoke testing as needed.Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).Track defects and ensure timely resolution and retesting.Required Skills:6 years of experience in software testing with strong QA fundamentals.Minimum 3 years of experience in automation using Playwright or Cypress.Proficiency in scripting languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.Strong knowledge of web technologies, DOM structure, and browser debugging tools.Hands-on experience with test management and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.Preferred Skills:API testing experience using Postman or Rest Assured.Experience with Git and version control best practices.Exposure to performance testing or mobile automation is a plus.
