Job Description

The Team: We are a team of data engineers and analytics professionals, working on building a cloud native forecasting platform that will enable the business launch multiple data products in the automotive space The Impact: This position will be a key resource that operates at the intersection of data science and data engineering by helping business build data products from scratch.Whats in it for you:

  • High visibility role, with the opportunity to work directly with business stakeholders.
  • Exposure to multiple AWS services and opportunity to gain experience with building robust, scalable cloud native data analytics platforms
  • Opportunity to build out state of the art Data Ops/ML Ops tooling and processes and evangelize the same across the organization
Responsibilities:
  • Work independently on the evaluation and implementation of tooling around the various Data Ops/ ML Ops stages.
  • Work closely with data scientists/data analysts to build out a data platform containing re-usable components for aspects such as data quality, data lineage, schema evolution tracking etc.
  • Write production grade code following SDLC best practices such as modularity, reusability, extensibility, scalability
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders (business and peers) on potential issues and updates on progress.
  • Effectively manage time and effort estimations to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of the product
What Were Looking For:
  • Minimum education requirement of four-year degree in an Engineering or a computer science or a quantitative discipline. Additional education is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working as an individual contributor on Data Ops/ML Ops.
  • Proficient with data engineering principles such as building robust, scalable, repeatable production grade data pipelines.
  • Highly proficient with big data and distributed technologies such as Spark, AWS Athena, Presto, Dask, Ray etc.
  • AWS Cloud experience is preferred.
  • Experience with automation concepts such as CI/CD, Data versioning, Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
