Job Description

Agency ManagerJob Purpose Responsible for delivering the target GPW numbers of an assigned territorythrough building a robust, effective and de-risked agency channel.Reports to Branch HeadTeam Reporting Will be expected to recruit and handle a team of freelance agents, and drive thesame to meet stated business objectives.KeyResponsibilities &AccountabilitiesAchieve GPW targets for the designated territory / span of agents Recruitment of new agents, in accordance with laid down regulationsregarding agent recruitment Activation of agents Ensuring training of agents as per business requirements Ensuring business hygiene standards, in face of business pressure Ensuring planned spread of business across diverse product lines of thecompany Ensuring agents are motivated and building a long term connect betweenthe agents and the company. Monitoring key competition developments and ensuring flow ofinformation to the organisation Performance screening of all agents allotted and taking appropriateaction as may be required from time to timeKnowledge /Experience / SkillsNeeds to have spent at least 2-3 years in the agency function of an insurancecompany ( life, general or health ).
