Job Description

    Area Collection ManagerWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Area Collections Manager for Indore, Bhopal & Jabalpur location to oversee our collections department. As an Area Collection Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage and collect outstanding debts of different processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in collections, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead a team to achieve Organizational goals.Job Description of a Area Collection Manager
    1. Develop and implement effective collections strategies and procedures to maximize debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships.
    2. Manage different processes in the territory of the unit.
    3. Manage a team of collections agents, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
    4. Monitor and analyze the performance of the collections team, implementing measures to improve productivity and success rates.
    5. Review and evaluate delinquent accounts, determining appropriate actions to be taken in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
    6. Communicate with customers regarding their outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, settlements, or other resolutions.
    7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
    8. Collaborate with the clients to resolve complex or escalate customer issues.
    9. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in collections, implementing new strategies or technologies as needed to improve efficiency and results.
    10. Prepare regular reports on collections activities, presenting data and insights to upper management.
    11. Manpower planning and forecasting requirements in the territory.
    12. Unit cost optimization.
    Require Qualification
    1. Bachelors degree in business administration, finance, or a related field preferred.
    2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in collections, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
    3. Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to collections, including fair debt collection practices.
    4. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collections targets.
    5. Strong understanding of financial statements.
    6. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
