Lead complex research initiatives to identify, formulate, and develop high-performance additives and chemicals tailored for specific industrial applications. Drive innovation by integrating advanced technologies, trends, and market demands into the development of new products.Project Management Manage multiple R&D projects, including budgeting, resource allocation, timeline management, and risk assessment. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Sales, to ensure seamless integration from development to commercialization. Provide technical support and expertise for pilot plant trials and scale-up processes.Quality and Compliance Ensure that all products meet regulatory standards, customer specifications, and internal quality benchmarks. Work closely with Quality Assurance to develop testing protocols, troubleshoot issues, and maintain rigorous quality controls throughout the R&D process. Stay current with environmental and regulatory standards, ensuring that all products and processes are compliant with relevant laws and safety guidelines.Technical Documentation and Reporting Prepare detailed technical reports, product specifications, and other essential documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and regulatory compliance. Analyse experimental data and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Present R&D updates to senior management, providing insights into project progress, challenges, and future R&D opportunities.Team Development and Mentorship Lead and mentor the R&D team, fostering a collaborative environment and encouraging skill development and innovation. Identify training needs and provide professional development opportunities to team members. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, scientific rigor, and operational excellence.Market & Technology Intelligence Conduct research on market trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in the field of special-purpose additives.
