Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled and experienced Fitter and Turner to join our mechanical maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and fitting of mechanical components on factory machinery and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role is critical to minimizing machine downtime and supporting uninterrupted production.Key Responsibilities: Perform routine and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults in machines, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and hydraulics. Conduct precision fitting and alignment of machine parts. Operate lathe, milling, and grinding machines for part fabrication and repairs. Follow preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime. Maintain tools and workshop equipment in good condition. Ensure safety compliance and maintain maintenance records. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Collaborate with operators and maintenance team for efficient issue resolution.Education & Experience: ITI or Trade Certificate in Fitting/Turning or Mechanical Engineering. 3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in a factory or manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with industrial machinery, mechanical tools, and machine shop equipment.Skills & Competencies: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manuals. Skilled in fitting, turning, grinding, and welding. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
