Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Draftsman to join our engineering team. The HVAC Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and other design software. The role involves creating HVAC layout plans, ducting, piping, and equipment details in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.Key Responsibilities: Prepare HVAC design including ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts. Collaborate with HVAC engineers to understand design intent and produce accurate drawings. Modify existing drawings based on engineer/site feedback. Maintain drawing records, revisions, and ensure documentation is updated regularly. Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs from drawings.Required Skills & Qualification : BE Mechanical/Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2 years of experience in HVAC drafting. Proficiency in AutoCAD. Good understanding of HVAC systems (ducting, chilled water, VRF, etc.). Ability to interpret technical drawings. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
