    • Define, maintain & prioritize backlog (user stories/features) to guide the agile software development team.
    • Research / Analysis needs of the consuming applications to understand and articulate requirements for the APIs
    • Works with architecture / technical leads to build designs for longer term scalable product
    • Deep understanding of the business / customer to participate in domain modeling exercises with team on API design
    • Ability to review API specs and assess fit with long term product goals
    • Understand and advocate API Best Practices for all API products
    • Ability to assess architecture/solution designs are fitting with the longer-term scalable product vision
    • Helps prepare/guide technical writers to product documentation
    • Able to put together business process / developer experience flows
    • Participates in Product Support and maintenance activities along with Business Operations and Technical Operations teams
    • Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis working in the guidance of the Product Manager closely to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
    • Contribute to defining the product key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions while working with the Product Manager
    • Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
    • Contributes to the product vision by collaborating with Product Manager, stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of a product.
    • Ensure team focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy and vision as defined by the Product Manager
    • Ability draft & define appropriately detailed specifications for the product features, so they are clearly understood by the development & QA teams and document them in the enterprise requirements planning tool
    • Understands product strategy, market, industry, and client goals.
    • Reviews and provides feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria.
    • Creates Sprint Release Plans with scrum master, project managers & development teams in alignment with priorities defined by the Product Manager.
    • Monitors the development progress and provides updates to the Product Manager and stakeholders, as requested.
    • Leads refinement, planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements.
    • Trains internal employees or external clients on changes, new systems, or new procedures. Conducts one-on-one or classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience.
    What you bring:
    • 3+ years of experience in software product management or equivalent role
    • Experienced as a Product Owner and having hands on working experience with banking or payment domain (must)
    • Well versed in API Technologies Swagger.io/Open API 3.0, REST/JSON and SOAP/XML, and tools like Splunk, Postman, SoapUI etc.,
    • Understanding of API Design Patterns (microservices, domain driven design, gateway vs, proxy vs. orchestration patterns etc.,
    • Prior experience 3+ years in the payments industry, with demonstrable understanding of major trends in Online / Instore payment solutions
    • Understanding of agile methodology, e.g. SAFe, with competence utilizing project management software tolls (e.g. Rally) to write concise user stories to communicate with the Engineering and QA teams and to ensure feasibility.
    • Ability to operate independently and effectively, under the supervision of Product Managers
    • Familiarity with managing a post-production launch to support the sales cycle, gauge performance
    • A strong team player, comfortable collaborating with and coordinating the efforts of cross-functional colleagues
    • Highly self-motivated with a strong will to win, ability to take ownership and desire to drive for optimal business results
    • Ability to adapt to and embrace frequent change with a positive attitude
    • Ability to appropriately prioritize multiple competing needs for self and team
    • A self-starter with a can-do attitude who can operate with minimal direct/daily supervision
    • Some prior development experience building / consuming APIs would be a bonus
