Job Description

    Key Responsibilities :Import & Export Operations: Manage import/export documentation, customs clearance, and compliance with trade regulations. Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders for smooth customs processes. Utilize trade agreements to optimize costs.Logistics Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with shipping companies and logistics providers. Monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and handle logistical issues. Work with warehouse staff to streamline storage and distribution.Technical Purchasing: Source and procure technical components and materials. Maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate terms, and evaluate performance. Conduct cost analysis for purchasing decisions.Inventory Management: Use inventory software to track stock levels and movements. Perform regular inventory audits and cycle counts. Analyze data to optimize stock levels and improve turnover rates.Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports on purchasing activities and supplier performance. Stay updated on market trends and provide recommendations.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain risks.Requirements Bachelors degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field. Minimum of 5 years in procurement, focusing on import/export and logistics. Proficient in inventory management software. Zoho Inventory is a plus. Strong understanding of international trade regulations and customs procedures. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. High attention to detail and proficiency in data analysis. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Preferred Qualifications: Professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CIPS). Experience with electronic components or manufacturing supply chains.
