Job Description

We are seeking aPython Engineerwithstrong experience in AWS cloud servicesto join our engineering team. You will design, develop, and deploy scalable back-end systems and data-driven services, leveraging modern cloud-native architectures. Ideal candidates are highly proficient in Python and have hands-on experience with key AWS services such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, and moKey Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintainback-end services, micro-services, and APIsusing Python.
• Design and implementcloud-native applications on AWS, ensuring scalability and high availability.
• Work withAWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Cloud Watch, IAM, etc.
• Build and optimizedata processing pipelines(e.g., using Python, Glue, or Step Functions).
• Integrate third-party APIs and design secure, efficient interfaces.
• Collaborate with DevOps to implement CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., using Terraform or AWS CDK).
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests for backend components.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and sprint planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 36 years of professional software developmentexperience with Python.
• Strong understanding ofRESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous programming.
• Minimum2 years of hands-on experience with AWS:
• Must have usedLambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gatewayin production.
• Familiarity withIAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Experience working withdatabases(SQL and NoSQL).
• Solid grasp ofsoftware engineering principles, Git, version control workflows.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in agile teams.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience withDocker and container orchestration(ECS, EKS).
• Exposure todata engineering toolslike AWS Glue, Athena, Step Functions.
• Experience withevent-driven architectures(e.g., SNS, SQS, Kinesis).
• Familiarity withCI/CD pipelines(e.g., GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins).
• Knowledge ofsecurity best practicesin cloud applications.
• Open for UK shifts
