Job Description

Windows L3 AdminRole & Responsibility1. Certification: Certification in Windows server technology is must or equivalent to MCSEMCSA Certification must be active, should not be expired at current date.2. Flavors of Windows: Windows 2012 ,2016 Windows 2019.3. Database configuration: Should have basic configuration of (Oracle/MS Sql /Mongo DB/ Redis) database in Windows environment.4. ITIL Knowledge: Should have ITIL process knowledge.5. Hosting etc.: Should have hosting experience such as IIS, Apache, Tomcat etc.6. DNS: Should have through knowledge on DNS. Creation, management & troubleshooting.7. Active Directory: Maintenance, backup & replication of AD & trouble shooting.8. Mail server: Creation maintenance of mail server on Windows server.9. Performance Optimization: Optimization of Windows resources.10. Virtualizations: Experience on Windows VM, VM based on VMware, Hyper v & basic understanding with regards to virtualizations. Should have basic understanding of virtual network on ESXI/ Hypervisor.11. Backup and Recovery: Windows backups scheduled by App admins, verifications of backup & restoration of backups as per demand. Backup on Tape Library, rotation of Tapes, scheduling of backups & verification of backups.12. Storages: Mapping of storage drives in Windows servers & expansion of storage as required. Permissions changes on drives as required. Should have exposure to connectivity of block level storage through iscsi and file level with NFS.13. Windows OS Firewalls: Should have exposure to OS firewalls such as ip tables, windows firewalls etc.14. Trouble Shooting: Should be an expert in troubleshooting for all level3 escalations. Should have knowledge of Teaming/ Bonding of network interfaces. Should have knowledge of Load -balancing for applications,
