If youre ready to be part of a fast-paced environment that values resilience and uptime, the Developer Enablement team at Autodesk has the perfect position for you!Autodesks Development Enablement organization seeks a hands-on, experienced Software Development Manager to lead a team of intelligent and driven developers responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting Autodesks next-generation distributed compute system.Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and mentor the software development team
  • Establish software development standards and practices
  • Engage in technical and architectural discussions and decision-making
  • Attract, hire, and continuously grow top software development talent
  • Build and foster a high-performance culture
  • Perform code reviews and technology evaluations
  • Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of technical projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and build toward a cohesive technical strategy
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years of people management experience
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud technologies (AWS)
  • Deep understanding of designing and maintaining large-scale, distributed platforms
  • Experience working with remote teams and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Recent hands-on experience within one or more languages Go/Java/Python
  • Understanding & curiosity about DevOps best practices
  • Good self-management skills and ability to track and prioritize multiple tasks coming in simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building apps on AWS using services such as Step functions, DynamoDB, IAM, EC2, CloudWatch, and Lambda
  • Experience consuming, designing, and implementing REST APIs
  • Good understanding of networking and security concepts
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, NewRelic, ELK)
